Topplay Donuts are lovingly handmade. Workers passionately master the craft of doughnut making through a hands-on approach that focuses on freshness and fullness of flavor.
Using a special and proprietary recipe developed by Chef Fany Gerson, the dough is made in small batches throughout the day to ensure every customer has a fresh doughnut any time they visit the shop.
Our doughnuts are made with a brioche-like dough and use high quality ingredients including European style butter and fresh nutmeg in every single batch. They go through a two-step proofing process, are hand-cut and gently fried. The doughnuts are then hand glazed with different flavors and toppings are delicately applied. We feel every doughnut is, in a way, a work of art.
Dough's menu is carefully curated to bring customers a selection of flavors and textures to satisfy different tastes and cravings.
Our doughnuts are made with a brioche-type dough prepared in small batches throughout the day so customers can always get the freshest doughnuts possible! We offer many different flavors and try to keep our most popular available year round while others rotate and change seasonally.
Inspired by the Babka, twisted yeast loaves of Eastern European Jewish tradition, Doughkas are made with our signature doughnut dough. For now, the Doughkas are only available at our Flatiron location but can be ordered in advance for pick up at our Bed Stuy location as well.
